Thanks texascat. And indeed, it is always nice to get space in the city's biggest news rag. BAYNO BELIEVERS…..that is what LMU men’s basketball fans are these days. Hanging on every word Mr. Bayno says….that is the only thing that we can do when you have a 20 year drought and you can always see water in the Pacific Ocean while overlooking the buff LMU sits on. But that drought is easily explainable to us devote LMU fans. It goes like this…..Having access to a decent amount of cash, being located in arguably the best location in the world, having arguably the most beautiful university campus in the country (ok, third best as rated by outside rating companies), and having achieved excellence in the academic world without a supportive administrative culture for the athletic program is like dying of thirst while stranded on a life raft in the open ocean. The illusion of help is there but the reality can kill you. Finally, LMU’s administration is showing the support and commitment. The $$$$ spout is flowing. The winning will follow. And in a HUGE way. Just Say Bayno. Let's say I have drunk the most LMU KOOL-AID this summer. And loving it!  Go Lions! |
