alert2, look again. The WCC is considered a mid-major; ranked in an associated link to the link you posted at 12th on average of the past ten years. The WAC is listed as a high major

we were never considered a high major. I think it may have been just a typo. like you said.

Not to wade into another labeling debate but with LMU on the rise and if USF and UP could improve I do not see how it would be possible to consider the WCC mid major according to this guys standards. Our RPI should be just as good as the WAC or MWC. If we can get 2 or 3 teams back to the NCAAs too it'll be time to pack our bags guys because things are changing.
