'09 Scholarships

Ok so according to my count after this season and graduation next year our scholarship players will be
1.Laron Armstead
2. Larry Davis
3. Tim Diederichs
4. Jarred DuBois
5. Ashley Hamilton
6. Isaiah Jenkins
7. Romaric Lasme
8. Terron Sutton.
9 Brad Sweezy
10. Kevin Young
11. Vernon Teel
12. Drew Viney

and with the addition of Given Kalipinde as number 13 do we even have anymore scholarships to give out next year?

All that means is that Terron, in particular, Brad and Tim will really have to work their butts off to keep their scholarships. Not a bad thing and we'll soon see if they're up to it.

A solid 2008 recruiting class, but in 2009 we need a big man own the paint. We have no one on the team over 6'9" (all from prior days....Deric, Sutton, Diederichs). Bayno needs to get a big man......I realize he is going athletic, but he needs a big man on some occasions. Let's go Bayno. I give you a pass this year. The tallest recruit of the 8 Bayno has brought in is 6'8". We need to go bigger.

I know....I am showing some signs of being critical even though we have experienced our best recruiting class ever. There is always room for improvement and we need to keep the pressure on. Do I hear Ed Garibay??
