In the projected lineup that we throw out there for the 2009-2010 season we should have 4 guys that were rated top 150 prospects in their class. Viney, Davis, Garribay and Vinson. That is truly amazing considering before Bayno stepped in we had never had one of these players on an LMU squad. We will now have four.
Not that it means everything, but it just goes to show you the talent level that Bayno is bringing in. Things are good in Lionland.

Good point...Sometimes I just think of the other schools that recruited the players we will have in the line up and its pretty unbelievable. ;D Things have certainly have changed. I can't wait for the season to start!

We are loaded!!! The Talent pool on the team is definitely better than anything we have had in a long time. As long as we play hard and with heart everything will work out in our favor for the years to come. Sounds like these guys are not only good talented players but also are committed to turning our program around. It is nice to see not everyone takes the easy road and these guys are all willing to work hard to bring LMU Bball back to the top!!!

I don't know guys...I've got high hopes for K. Young. I think he could stay in the Starting Line-up in 09-10 if he puts on a few lbs. of muscle. He looks like a heck of an athlete to me. What do you guys think?

Getting Kevin so late in a game was huge for us. He needs to put on weight but from what I have heard his tremendously talented. I could easily see him starting for us.

I would agree, I think he can definitely be a starter not only this year but next year as well. I think we go with Garibay at Center and Young at PF. Then I would go with Vinson at SF, Davis at SG and Dubois at PG. This could all be interchangeable with Viney in the mix as well. It kind of depends if Bayno wants to go with a big lineup and start young or go smaller and have a big man and four smaller guys on the floor. I would prefer to see Garibay, Young and Vinson start for sure.
If you haven't seen Young's youtube video yet I would suggest checking him out. He is going to be an exciting player to watch.

I do not know who other than Bill Bayno could have done a turn around in recruiting like we have. It really is shocking. Going from the dog house to bringing in these type of players. Bayno has lived up to his promise in bringing in talent.
