Just saw Baron Davis shooting around in Burns. There must have been 50 or so students watching him play. He was one of my all time favorite Bruins and one of the best in the NBA so it was a treat to watch. ;D
I wish Bayno, some of our bball players or some recruits could have seen the kind of players that practice in Burns though.

Baron Davis is actually a good friend of Bayno's. Bayno helps train Davis in the off-season. This summer Baron was playing pick up basketball at LMU with our current players, other college players and some of the top high school players in the area.
Baron even overheard someone telling a recruit about LMU being a good school to go to and Baron interupted and told the recruit that " no, it is the best place to come"
Baron is definately on our side.

Martell Webster was on campus all summer too. Training with Bayno and playing ball with our team. One time he was in Burns and some guys were short a player for their summer league game and he stepped in and played on their team! Having NBA players around talking about LMU and Bayno is incredible for our recruiting.
