Sorry, I attempted to answer the above questions from greendoberman:
-Deric started, but Diedrichs and Sweezy did not. Hamilton, Young, DuBois, and Teel started all three games. The fifth spot is a revolving door. Maybe Armstead next?
-LMU did play better in the second half against UC Davis, but never got within eight, I believe. There were a few stretches where the Lions continued to hit 1-out-of-2 free throws, which just is a momentum speed bump.
I like how we took care of the ball against Iowa State, and we had a few nice stretches in the other two games, but the fact we could not score more than 55 points in any game is pretty ominous. From listening, it appears we have our best chance of scoring when we attack the basket quickly. Our half-court offense appears listless, at best.
Teel leads us in scoring, rebounds, assists, and steals. This is partly due to other players under-performing, but Teel deserves a lot of credit. Once the freshmen get going, we will be fine.

We need a second big scorer, and we also need to make sure we keep the turnovers to a minimum! This is what will bring us success!

Thanks. I was just going off the boxscore I saw online, since I was out and unable to listen to the game.
Honestly, I don't get Deric at all. At least Counts gives it his all, and Timmy is obviously suffering from his injury. Sweezy even give max effort, although he's obviously overmatched.
Deric to me is like a foreign, shorter Max Craig.
