I was at the game last night. He was limping pretty badly the entire time but played remarkably well regardless of his circumstances. He left the game at the end due to a poke in the eye I believe. I think he shouldn't be pushing it too hard and it would probably be best for him at this point to redshirt this season for his own personal health, but I am no doctor.

Anyone with an update on his status for tonight? I was actually thinking of driving in to see tonight's game if the rain subsides.
How many more games can he play before losing redshirt possibility?

I talked some players yesterday and they weren't too sure on Ashley's status either. In terms of games played you have to played less than %30 to get a red-shirt year. I think Ash is pretty close to that. I guess we will see tonight.
Go Lions.

How many more games can he play before losing redshirt possibility? Before this year, the cutoff was participation in 20 percent of a team's games, which would have meant that Hamilton, who played in six, would have been ineligible (6 games played out of 30 games in the season). The rule change to 30 percent puts Hamilton within the limits. If he plays in 3 more games, he will become ineligible.
