If we play some stellar D and hit some outside shots we have a chance.
Go Lions!

The new lineup is starting to gel. I hope Monty, Ziri and Doh come out hotter than usual tonight because we'll need them along with Knight putting up the points.
We have a shot at this!

I am hoping we can pull this off, it would be huge. I hope Gersten is packed and I know Roar is gonna be crazy. If we play our best we have a chance. No stupid turnovers. We need a leader to step up who can handle the ball when they press us, which we know they will do the whole game. The zags didn't play that well against pepperdine, I was there, and if we play like we can and they play like they played on saturday, we have a good chance.

I'm hoping for a good, competitive game and a Lions victory, of course. ;D

The books list us as an 11-point underdog.

Incredible. Freakin' incredible. That may have been the best all around defensive effort I've seen out of college team in a long time. These kids deserve it.

Why was the gym not full? It looked like no one was in the top ten rows. The great, diverse student body the school brags about sucks if they can't fill it for Gonzaga.
Enough whining... great win , coach!
Alums, let's get some checks in the mail.

I was also a bit surprised to see a less than capacity crowd at this game. Maybe it was the late start time or the fact that it was a Monday. But oh well, those who did make the effort to show up saw a great game and maybe this will spark an influx in attendance, as well as boost in spirit on the campus. Also, not a bad showing for national TV, eh?

Great win Lions!! It's really a shame we lost to you guys at our place. It's really too bad that Worthy is out for the year. I really think that you'd be right up there with my Broncos. Congrats on the win and thanks for putting the Broncos in 1st place.

My voice will never come back.
I'm just happy I could experience that during my senior year.

Wow. Unbelievable win. Congrats to the team.
As for the "sagging" attendence, I think there are two things at work:
1. Worthy. When your best player goes down, and haven't won a home game in six weeks, its difficult to regroup morale.
2. I heard that many women couldn't make the game due to sorority recruitment. Say what you want about females and their interest in sports, they do consist of approximately 65 percent of the student population.
Personally, I think the attendence complaint is bs. I'd rather have 1,000 Roar members screaming their lungs out than 4,000 students who sit on their hands. I thought we had the best of both worlds tonight. The lower level was absolutely packed, and it was LOUD, especially during the last four minutes.
Once again, congrats to the team.

Amen, to that. I was at the game, wished we would have sold out but the kids who where there tore things up. I thought the stands were going to collapse.
I'm still suffering from shock and awe. All I can say is....
GO LIONS!
