Sounds like a good get.
Now let's get Larry on the road to health as well.
One thing from the article, someone take the damn motorcycle away from Quincy. LOL. Last thing we need is another injury.

From ESPN recruiting: 6-6 swingman Quincy Lawson picks LMU Quincy Lawson from Vista High (CA) verbally committed to Loyola Marymount on Monday, according to the North County Times. Lawson averaged 22.7 points and 11.8 rebounds per game as a senior. Lawson's brother Kenny is a starter at Creighton. "I talked with Kenny a lot," Quincy said. "And we talked about playing together. But LMU was the best fit for me. They play a four-out, one-in style that suits my game." Lawson joins Given Kalipinde and Edgar Garibay in the 2009 class. ESPN has expanded their write up:
Quincy Lawson from Vista High (CA) verbally committed to Loyola Marymount on Monday, according to the North County Times. Lawson averaged 22.7 points and 11.8 rebounds per game as a senior.
Lawson's brother Kenny is a starter at Creighton.
"I talked with Kenny a lot," Quincy said. "And we talked about playing together. But LMU was the best fit for me. They play a four-out, one-in style that suits my game."
"Lawson, a 6-6 wing-type, decided to take his blossoming skills and significant upside to Loyola Marymount after receiving interest from Creighton, San Diego, and UC Riverside," said ESPN.com Recruiting Coordinator Joel Francisco.
"Lawson is a hybrid 4-man who should develop into a high-level 3-man down the road," Francisco noted. "He has a prototypical frame for the wing position and his skills are developing. He is quite bouncy and has the quickness to guard the 'three' at the next level."
Lawson can also score on the break.
He handles the ball well in transition and has the lift and length to finish at the rim," Francisco said. "His jump shot is a work in progress but I've seen him hit several in a row."
This is a nice under-the-radar get for the Lions.
"Lawson is one of those diamond in the rough types," concluded Francisco. "He has the upside to be an All-Conference performer down the road, but he is still quite raw and he needs to be more aggressive at both ends."
Lawson joins Given Kalipinde and Edgar Garibay in the 2009 class.
