Thanks fanblade. Great article and insights. This is what it is all about. A smaller school putting a commitment to its athletic program to build up the rest of the school. I could only wish LMU would build an arena like this. But we just don't have: 1) the room, 2) reason to do it yet (low attendence), and 3) a limited bank roll. It is a shame that a school like Quinnipiac can build something like that and fill it, but we cannot get our students to fill up one side of our pavillion (let alone get another 2,000+ alumni or just basketball fans from the 2nd largest city in the U.S. to fill the other side). One day I hope this is the kind of story that LMU will be the center of attention. It is all about attendance. Rodney is doing the best he can at attracting/recruiting the talent. It is time that the fans come support in this year of rebuilding and ride this momentum to when we will be dancing in the NCAAs within 2-3 years. __________________________________________ LIONSPRIDE SIGNATURE How to increase attendance at LMU Basketball Games: 1) Tell someone you know that does not attend games and have them join you; 2) Call the athletic office and ask what they are doing to bring awareness of LMU basketball to the community (let alone its own student population) 3) Donate your tax deductible contribution specifically to LMU Men's Basketball and have it tagged for increased publicity. LionsPride's answer to most things = attendance

Would it be presumptuous to "email a friend" this to Fr. Lawton .
