Unfortunately there is no relation, and we have almost no chance at getting him. He will be a Pac-12 player.

Great insight, thank you for sharing ironlion. I found this highlight reel… Based off of three minutes on this link the 6’10” Jakub would be the best player in school history… All joking aside though, this is a very impressive compilation. Athletic, can shoot the three, and I love the defense! Let’s get Jakub… Please!

He looks like a 6'10" athletic shooter who hustles... They don't have a lot of those, a lineup of him, Markusson, and Scott would be a solid front court.

“Get Better Academy”
If I never saw highlights to prove they exist. I’d think that was the best named scam ever lol

In a less disheartening world there would exist the Get Better Academy for Coaches, Athletic Directors and Senior Vice Presidents for Student Affairs. Attendance by our very own wayward triumvirate would be compulsory.

he looks good in the videos. Looks like a less athletic version of Marin Mornar. Its so hard to tell in these highlight videos because you can't get a fair assessment of the competitions, the playing environment, how the player reacts to mistakes and setbacks. We shall see

Its so hard to tell in these highlight videos because you can't get a fair assessment of the competitions, the playing environment, how the player reacts to mistakes and setbacks. We shall see Nice comparison. Mornar was talented, but he was not developed. Max Good was not good at developing bigs. I remember that complaint from the Drew Viney camp. Good was much better developing guards. Dunlap doesn't seem to be very good with the guards, but I think he's okay with the euro bigs. It takes him a long time, like 3-4 years, but I'm fascinated by this kid because he looks like he's playing an American game. The way he cuts to the hoops, the angels he takes, etc, just seems like he's watching a lot of American basketball on TV. It's a position we sorely need help at. He immediately steps in and becomes a PF that plays 20 minutes a game next year, even with his smaller frame. Assuming the WCC stays the same, I'd say that with him and Douglass as additions, this could be a .500 team next season.

I don't think much of CMD's work with the bigs. Their footwork is terrible and I see little in the way of in-action anticipation. Part of the latter is dependent on a player's natural inclinations, but it can also be coached. The former is all coaching. I can't even tell who coaches the bigs.

Also just offered Eddie Stansberry, 6'3" SG from City College San Francisco. Highlights from his freshman year at cc: Link to his stats: www.cccaasports.org/sports/mbkb/2017-18/players/eddiestansberryce0fLooks like his only other offer is San Jose State right now. Interesting that we offer a SG right now... Also just hosted a PF to a campus visit, I guess the news of transfers or scholarship players getting cut should be coming any day now.

Interesting that we offer a SG right now... Also just hosted a PF to a campus visit, I guess the news of transfers or scholarship players getting cut should be coming any day now. my nephew played with eddie on the same high school team at Riordan. He is a good player, however he is not a legitimate D1 talent. he has a solid body but does not have the burst or athleticism to finish at the rim against D1 talent. His shot looks nice in the highlight video but he is not known for his shooting prowess. He also played in a very easy/low competition league in high school which didn't help him with skill development and/or publicity for college basketball. My nephew went on to play D2 ball and I think thats probably a good fit for Eddie too. It is truly frustrating that this continues to be Dunlap's' recruiting strategy. We are looking in the wrong bucket for players and we need to kick up our recruiting more than several notches. The fact that SJSU is the ONLY university that has offered him should be a big sign. upper echelon or even mid to upper tier recruits do not go to SJSU. WAKE UP LMU!
