Rob Jones is leaving SD as we already know.
James Rahon the thrid leading scorer at SCU is leaving. From what I have heard the players and fans really don't like Keating.
I wouldn't be suprised if both Jones and Rahon end up at Stanford, both were recruited by Tention.
Greg Sempadian, the Director of Athletics Development at USF was let go by their crazy AD DMG. Greg is extremely loved by the fans, boosters and athletes. This DMG has been reading her Sun Tzu getting rid of people who pose a threat to her.

I try to read all the wcc boards when I can, and every single thing I've read about Greg sounds like he a great guy. I hope he can find work soon, and maybe if we have a spot here at LMU we could hire him. He sounds like he truly cares about his kids and school.

And many folks are out for the head of the San Diego coach as well. And is Few going to Washington State as some rumors have it? The WCC pot is boiling!

Shocking news about Rahon. DGM sounds like a nightmare but great job protection strategy for herself.

Losing rahon really hurts SCU's chances. The kid was going to be an absolute stud.

Santa Clara gets a commitment from JC SG Troy Payne
USF gets commitment from local guard Michael Williams of TAFT. They were also after Westchester guard Dominique O'Connor.

Word from the Pepperdine board is due their coaching changes and subsequent roster turn over the APR is in bad shape. There is talk that they might lose some scholarships. This is a similar situation to what USF experienced.

Latest Katz article shows Gonzaga as #16. 16. Gonzaga: Yes, seniors Josh Heytvelt, Jeremy Pargo and Micah Downs are gone. But the Zags should have just as tough a starting five with Matt Bouldin, Demetri Goodson, Steven Gray in the backcourt and Austin Daye (assuming he doesn't declare and stay in the draft) and Robert Sacre inside. The Zags would still be able to score at all five positions and notably would have quickness with Goodson (see Western Kentucky bucket for the last-second win) and shooting with Bouldin and Gray. sports.espn.go.com/ncb/columns/story?columnist=katz_andy&id=4058254

If the Zags can mesh all their current talent with the promising talent they have coming in, BY THE END OF THE YEAR they could easily be top 16 as Katz predicts. Those who know the type of talent the Zags have coming in next year can attest to that. The problem is four out of the five recruits the zags have coming in are all foreign players from Canada and Germany. They are all absolute studs in their country, but the recruiting sites such as rivals or scout do not make it out to their games to watch them. The kids have great talent, not necessarily high scout, espn, or rival ratings. Katz obviously knows the talent these kids have

Katz sure does loves hyping up the Zags.

That too.
Next year should be a great year. I am really excited to see the talent coming in from the Lions and the Zags....
A lot of people on the Zags board are picking LMU as its sleeper team. I would have to agree with that assessment
