Tough game to play without Issanza - this is a game that will make the team better. Three point shots were not falling other than that 3-4 minute stretch where Chance carried us. Offense needs to get a lot better an moving the ball to help create open shots.

Down 65-57 with less than 2 minutes and now OT - never seen LMU come back like this against a team of the caliber of Wake Forest.

Amazing what can happen when you get a few shooters on the squad huh? Ahrens and Stephens were huge and of course the big shot by Cam

Perhaps, problem has always been not enough games in Jamaica. 4-0 all time in Jamaica and two time Jamaica Classic champions!

Incredible win! Would Dunlap have ever let a freshman shoot 10 threes in a game?

Barnes blocked the guard’s layup without fouling in the closing seconds before the Dracon’s big man blew his rebound shot. It was meant to be I guess!

Wow! Scarry, but good, good! We have players. Dunlap won this tourney too. Make Jamaica our home court. But the Sniper is going to be great. Anderson got to improve his game. We need him. Shelton is resurrected from last year's ashes. A true Phoenix! Good job and Kudos to Stan!

Big win. We have a lot of weapons. Consider that Keli and Jalin went a combined 1-10 from three. Those guys will have better nights And when they do, look out. I really see Jalin and Lamaj to be huge keys to our success this year. Cam will be Cam and Keli will be Keli and Sniper and Ahrens will add the 3 ball. Here's where Jalin with his mid-range game and Lamaj with his probing and penetrating come in. Those guys, along with Cam, will get opportunities in the paint as defenses try to take away the 3. If they can capitalize on those opportunties and keep defenses honest, we will be in business. Add Dameane to the mix and oh my!

What a weekend, I know Georgetown is not good at all, but Wake Forest was undefeated and to beat any combination of Big East and ACC teams back to back really says something!

Great weekend of basketball. They really took it to those two teams. This wasn’t a case of Wake playing poorly, but rather LMU doing what it could do to win. Shelton really stood out as a leader. Where was the Cam last year? Could’ve used him. I also liked that Ahrens showed more responsibility to score. Issanza has some true size so it was good to see him play tall and block shots. These are the good additions from the transfer protocol that need to play big roles.
Yesterday when watching the UCLA-USC game, they mentioned how Chip Kelly said this was no longer about development but roster construction with the transfer protocol. That’s the thing with building LMU, the program. Do you hire a guy who will develop or get a guy who will find transfers? It’s a whole new game isn’t it
