Talk about perseverance!! Down 0-16 to the 15th ranked team in the country.
First team in conference history to beat Gonzaga, BYU, and St. Mary’s in the same season!
So much to be proud of, congratulations to everyone involved.

Cam Shelton with probably the best half of basketball I have ever seen from a Lion - 31 points to beat a top 15 team... absolutely incredible. And after being down 16-0, battling back several times, might be my favorite LMU win. What an effort by this team.

Boy this sure feels nice. All of us on this board have suffered a lot through the years and to get a win like that is really special. In my mind, a tougher win than Gonzaga on the road given the way the game played out -- getting way behind early and BATTLING for the next 30+ minutes was awesome. Wow. Defensive intensity was off the charts. St. Mary's got lots of calls and lots of offensive rebounds both of which would normally break a team's back. Not this Lions team. Not tonight.

Cam was the man for sure but also shout out to Alex he made lots of big shots in this game. Ahrens made arguably the biggest one too

Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! I posted first and I am sooooo happy to be made wrong!! I still don't know how we did it 6 pts down with 1.5 minutes in regulation. Can showed up at the right time. Boy if we could just keep these piston humming we might go places.
First time I remember the floor being covered by cheering students since Hank's days!! Wow!! Wow!! Wow!!

I'll take the "downs" of this season if these are the "ups"! Incredible fight and fortitude from the players. So happy for the students, coaches, fans, everyone!
Crazy stat... St Mary's had 0 bench points the entire game. A testament to the defense tonight.

I do remember covering that floor when Brandon Worthy hit the game winning falling 3pt buzzer beater!!! But any time students flood the court, you know it’s a big win!!! GO LIONS!!! ROAR!!

It was an absolute blast to watch them pull out that win.
Yes, I was one of the people screaming, "Cam! Pass the ball! You have to pass the ball!"
But I nevertheless enjoyed the outcome, to say the least.
