We can beat these guys, especially on a neutral court. It would help if Harris and/or Wright can play.

I’d like to think that we won’t let those two other players go off like they did against us on Saturday. Maybe we let Robertson get 30 but shut down everyone else.

I’ve barely posted this season. Having a couple little ones has kept me busy. That being said, I’m kind of bored by this season’s iteration of the team. Nobody stands out to me besides Johnston. Harris barely plays it seems but another bust in hopes. These guys were very fragile this year. You need to look at the athletic training staff again. Wasn’t this why Max Good and then Mine Dunlap were fired. Stan sounds exasperated on the open mic. Lars was a bust. McBride needs to expand his game a great deal. With the transfer portal, how many of these guys will stick around?
12-15 years and we still can’t guard the 3.

LMU’s season mercifully about to be over. It’s wild that Merkvilazde got an award… I have him as one of the worst players on the team. The guy repeatedly leaves his man open for and then is too slow to recover and gives up open 3 after open 3. He’s done this his whole time here. It’s frustrating to see one player sabotage the D.

Tough season, started off slow with all the new pieces and then caught the injury bug. I understand the value of the transfer portal but I’d really like to see us recruit a couple freshman to develop. I would like to see CSJ get another 1-2 seasons but given the likelihood of high roster turnover maybe this could be his last year…

Next year Oregon State and Washington State are coming in. We’re cooked either way. I’m like whatever with Stan. He could stay or leave, I see no difference.
Who are you going to hire? Nobody is taking this program seriously until you build better facilities. Them begging to have a winning team to inspire donations isn’t going to work.
They needed to hire Russell Turner years ago.

Interesting how many posters have said something to the effect of, “Mercifully the season is over.” I was thinking the same thing when I opened the blog. Can we somehow expunge this year from the record book? LMU has had it share of bad seasons but this one has seemed particularly disappointing. Did Coach Stan really think he had a tournament team? Or was that just empty hype?
I don’t want to see him replaced … yet. The revolving door hasn’t done much for us in the past. But the guy has a whole lot of homework to do between now and next November. I give him one more year. We’re actually in pretty good shape with NLI and while our facilities may not get any gold star ratings, they aren’t that bad and to use that as an excuse is a cop out.
Everyone - have a good Spring and Summer, and I’ll “see” you next Fall.
