LMU2015, you're making me feel very old. I was at every home game during the 1989-1990 season. And come to think of it...That was a REALLY long time ago. I hoping this year goes better.

I like our chances tonight if we can limit North Dakota’s best Player, Treysen Eaglestaff. We’re 10.5 point favorites right now. But we tend to struggle guarding these types of scoring guards and he shoots the 3 well, so stopping him needs to be priority #1. He reminds me a lot of Tyler Robertson from Portland last year, and he gave us trouble. Just can’t let Eaglestaff get hot whatsoever. Let someone else beat us. Eaglestaff basically carried UND to a win over Utah Valley by scoring 31 (21 in the 2nd half). When this dude catches fire, watch out. I’m hoping Stan and the staff have a gameplan for him.
Porter should cook tonight against a 6’8 Starting Center. North Dakota’s backup C is 6’10 but plays limited minutes and is not quick enough to guard Porter for a full game. I’m anticipating an easy 20+ for him.
And let’s hope Amey Jr gets back on track. We need him to start making his threes or finding other ways to score if shots aren’t falling. Will has been great, but we would reach another level if Amey Jr can be more efficient.
Go Lions!!

Lmu2015 - that must have been fun attending those games when LMU was a national power. Worth staying out late.

Thanks LIONS90045. Did you guys see how they are marketing this game to bring people in? Crumbl cookies..... Instead of thinking of ways to imrpvoe our program they are trying to market to people by offering free cookies... That is how stupid the athetlics department and this administration thinks LMU alum and fans are. What a disgrace. How would a marketing staff decision to do a cookie giveaway to students in ANY way, have to do with taking time away from improving our program? You really think the actual basketball minds in the BASKETBALL program are scheming up cookie giveaways instead? Like c'mon dude. You can be frustrated with the team's play but trying to connect these two things is absolutely asinine and you know it. The cookie giveaway was happening, whether they were 3-0 or 0-3 at this point.

Good news bruise - Diop wasn't really cutting it at center - yes, big Rick should help on the boards and contributing some scoring inside.

Lions shooting 33% Eaglestaff 5-9 ( but it seems higher) Lions favored by 10 but this is why we play the game anyway

Lousy finish to this game. Johnson flat out-coached again. I’m sorry I just don’t see a ton of talent. They have big guys who can dribble a little but only Johnston is an outside shooter. Vide sucks. Big liability on offense.
