I’ll comment tomorrow but it won’t be praise.

Someone commented to me that the teams are evenly matched. I don’t know - not at the game. BUT there is no situation in which we should be evenly matched with North Dakota unless it’s ice hockey they’re really good in that sport). As far as I’m concerned, nbd has full license today on any criticism he wants. It has to be warranted, I don’t care what he says.
This is bad, really bad.

Stan’s gotta go but nobody else in athletics cares. No money, no facilities and no winning culture. They need a massive hire at coach but in this transfer - NIL climate there’s nobody important that wants this job. You just get this over and over.

Team needs work. Shots weren’t falling and the offense spent to much time standing around. Amey looks terrible. I thought he was a big scorer at SJSU but I’ve seen nothing from him this year. It’s still early and I still believe it’s going to take us some time to figure it out but tonight was very frustrating. I hope they have a chance to watch a lot of video on the flight to Cancun.

Sat courtside tonight. Team has too much talent to be this disjointed. Maybe Romar can take some reins (best of the worst?)

I was at the game as well. I’m not going to say anything more than, this program is a joke, this team is a joke.
CS17 , maybe my harsh criticism on the cookie promo wasn’t too far fetched? Athletics programs usually focus on athletics and winning not on how to cheaply try to bring people to the games. Fans want to win, they don’t care about free cheap desserts.
So disappointing

Lions missed more layups than I have missed opportunities in life.

You’ll talk crap and talk about “I was right” when the truth is that’s what loser’s do. “I told you cookies were wrong! Should’ve been sundaes!”…….so act like you’re some Lions fan when really you just hate everything.

My sense is Pintens wants a winner THIS season. With the recruiting we did going into this season, players and coaches, this seems a “do or die” season. Last night we definitely did not “do it.” Hollering in the locker room is not a substitute for good coaching, which this group sorely needs. I need a cookie! 🍪 Or beer. 🍺

Youre a much better person than I am , there do you feel better? Relax. I want this program to be a winner just as much as the guy next to me.

I’ve stopped watching. Didnt Stan say this team had ncaa tournament level talent?
So that means
A) Stan can’t evaluate talent Or B) Stan and his staff can’t coach Or C) both are true
Because this team may need to resurrect the CBI to be in any kind of postseason tournament.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but in a college landscape where all the good mid major teams are getting their best players poached from the “big boys” after one successful season, the year where LMU is a “tournament team” may never happen in my lifetime. I’m 35. Oh and btw, this team doesn’t have many guys that would be “poached”.

I did learn that Laker Coach Phil Jackson and Earl “The Pearl” Monroe are graduates of University of North Dakota. (Needs fact checking.)

I did learn that Laker Coach Phil Jackson and Earl “The Pearl” Monroe are graduates of University of North Dakota. (Needs fact checking.) Phil Jackson did play for North Dakota. They were Div II and he led them to a couple successful seasons while he played there. Hi is coach was Bill Fitch, who later became a well known NBA coach. Regarding Earl the Pearl — that one didn’t seem right to me. I looked him up. This legendary player, known as “The Black Jesus,” starred at Winston-Salem in North Carolina.

ALIONINWINTER. I knew Jackson played there but I didn't know Bill Fitch had coached there as well. He was a pretty good NBA coach. He coached the Clippers for a while. If memory serves me correct, he was fired and then sued by Donald Sterling. Sterling didn't want to pay the rest of his contract and alleged that he wasn't trying to find another job. Fitch was 65 when he was fired. That always summed up the Sterling era of the LA Clippers.

Thanks Winter - 100% Announcers were wrong about The Pearl, aka the "Black Jesus" (whatever?)
