ND at home shouldn't be a problem to bring guys out for that. A little easier than Cal State Bakersfield or Wagner.

Any update on what the schedule looks like for next year? As far as tournaments are concerned, I saw that LMU is playing in the World Vision Basketball Classic Nov. 14-16. 4 team field is not all that impressive with host Iowa State, LMU, UC Davis and Wisconsin Milwaukee.

I hope we start off the year with a exhibition vs. Cal State Dominguez Hills and smash them. My friend that went there just loves bring up last years game.

Oh, boy....that CSUDH game was a game for the ages. But what did it for me was our effort (or lack thereof) against CSU Bakersfield. I remember that January 7th game as if it was yesterday. From that day forth, I made the decision that Tention was to go. And I kept banging that drum until his "resignation" on March 12. The high's and very low's of last season. It will all be forgotten when our Bayno Ballers take the court later this year.

another... UCSB matchup next season. The Gauchos return home to host Loyola Marymount after final examinations on Dec. 13www.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/stories/061708aah.htmlEven though I remember their coach complaining about scheduling WCC teams last season USF also makes it into their schedule along with North Carolina.

Wow what a range of teams! You have a small name (soon to be big name...hehe) LMU school and all the way to the top NC! Interesting.

Date for the opening home game has been announced.
Friday, November 21, vs. Notre Dame
This will be the night that Bill Bayno puts LMU Basketball on the map. You never know....we may shock a preseason top-10 team in our home opener. I am glad the home opener is later in the calendar as Bill should have the players and his line up completely solidified and playing our best basketball.
Please be at Gersten Pavillion early. Bring signs, such as
BAYNO's BOYS BAYNO BALLERS Just Say Bayno KING ASH
Anybody have any other ideas on signs! We need to look good. I hope the administration is planning to give out those JUST SAY BAYNO t-shirts to all in attendance. We need to fill the stands and support.
GO LIONS!

I have always been confused at what exactly what "Just Say Bayno" is supposed to mean. If anyone could clarify it that would be great. We definitely need to have some signs and a good crowd to look good for this game.

Yay timmeaboy for bringing this news 2 months earlier. This is going to be YUGE!. I also want to suggest we use the phrase "Just Bay'no!" which rolls off the tongue better than "Just Say Bayno" I do not understand why the "say" was thrown into there. I was not trying to bring old news alert2.....just saying the DATE was announced officially. timmeaboy did not mention the date. I think it is interesting that NOVEMBER 21 is the home opener. A bit later than usual.

According to the ND board, it will be USC/ND weekend so we could see a lot of Irish fans make their way up to LMU.

I don't want to see half the tickets in Gersten being held by Irish supporters. LMU better not sales tickets to UND directly. Have their fans come up to the ticket windows. WE NEED TO SUPPORT BAYNO! MUSCLE OUT THOSE ND FANS!

Also notable for next year is the Dec. 2 date @arizona. I will definitely be making a road trip to see this game. I think this deal was made while Tention was still here. . .
