Pepperdine is 0-4 in conference play and 6-14 overall in 2007-2008. The Waves swept the season series in 2006-2007.
I hope the team comes to play in Malibu on Saturday. I will be there routing our team on.
GO LIONS!

I may be in the minority but I feel we have a good chance against the waves this weekend. Yes, Pepperdine has not imploded under the new HC. They played well against the gaels and broncos, much better than the disaster against GU and I did not see their loss against Portland. Regardless, I think this team will matchup better against their style than last year's team that would break down from the pace and was not offensively blessed. I think we have more shooters now and can keep a higher tempo.
We just need to do a much better job of keeping our TOs down and we'll get a big road win.

I wish this was on tv. FSN should pick both lmu-pepp games up. More interesting than Northridge-Long Beach . I'll try the wavescast

LMU's got 10 TOs already 5 min to go in half, poor shooting, just bad.

You know I'm gonna start it off.
I'm not that upset. It was a tale of two halfs. TO's killed us but I really like what I saw. I liked how Coach T went with a small lineup and we got back in the game. At times we seemed lost but all in all I think they have a week to improve and add what they did in the second half as a tool. I like Sweezy, he's athletic and dunking. Were young but again I'm not unhappy except that we lost.
Rough game, refs didn't call much in the 1st half. I will say this one thing our players have to learn, JZ got it, Deadwiler tried once or twice but when we are in the bonus with 10 Mins left, everything should be going to the basket so we can get a foul, possible and one thus stopping the clock. That comes with Maturity. Pepperdine was just HOT tonight but again I like what I saw in the second half.
Lions get ready for next saturday and focus on your mistakes and look at what you did well and go do it.

Going to the liqour store right now. I just brought home a 12-pack of Newcastle. I may just kill it tonight by myself.

20+ loss to lowly Pepperdine....wow.... Wait til you play them! Oh wait...you are not gaels or zags fan, are you? Yeah, it's a bad loss but at least our players are still fighting. We just aren't a very good team this year.
