I was really proud of the team and the fans tonight. We played a team that supposedly #10 in the nation very well. The young players really stepped up. We really needed Teel in the game...hope he isn't out too long. I could see he was in agony not being able to play. Too bad Bayno couldn't be there. I'm sure he must have been really sick not to make it. Sutton wasn't on the bench either. I wonder if Timmy is also going to sit out from now on. Marco is a senior averaging 4 ppg and really soft.

I'm very proud of our team. Thank the fans for coming out, but let's keep the momentum of attendance going. One thing is for certain....a packed Gersten is extremely intimating or at least very annoying to any opponent, ranked or not. We have a much better chance of winning a team with a packed Gersten than not.
I have to give a lot of credit to the coaching staff (inlcuding MIA Bill Bayno). They had the time to prepare and prepare and prepare for Notre Dame and they did not disappoint. The players were in their positions. The coaching staff prepared them well. With all the horses in place, it is very very very scary what Bill Bayno and Co. can pull off at LMU over the next couple of season. I know I am a die-hard Lions fan, but I am typically very realistic. I think a Top 15 ranking within 3 years is not out of the question and a deep run into the dance.
Max Good is the absolute coach. He was in our players faces. He was over the refs. Good is the man behind the MAN. I wish Bill Bayno a quick recovery. I just hope nothing serious is going on with him other than a major flu, etc.
Go Lions!
