I know we get very few fans to the game but is it possible the coaching staff has limited interest in the program as well. I mean a 500 record for many years will keep some people happy.
I looked at the other WCC websites and ALL of them have an updated roster for 09/10. It may seem like a small thing but it tells me the other WCC schools are excited and fired up for this comming year. What is our coaching staff doing? Maybe they are going out to the local schools, Y'S, companys and club teams in the area to get people in the stands?

For the amount of talent we have I think another .500 year is unacceptable...Wilhoit should be on the hot seat this season.

The coaches are recruiting and that is what they should be doing not updating the website. We have marketing and information people for that who need to get on this.

It's all on the sports information director. It his job to get it done, not the coaches.

Duke...the other WCC programs are not recruiting? Also, the two girls signed to our girls program for next year live about 15 minuites from LMU. Get a top 100 player from Chicago or Georgia, Tennesee or heck even Oregon. This is where are coaches are going and I will say you are correct, but untill then it ain't gonna fly.

I have emailed lmulions.com before when I found mistakes on the men's roster. Maybe a quick email to the info director will prompt him to update the women's roster.

The situation at LMU is the toughest decision for any AD to make. You have a coach who is successful. But the question is, is she successful enough? Do you get rid of that coach and take the risk of making a bad hire. Honestly JW has underachieved at LMU. She should be winning more and going to the NCAA. But Husack won't get rid of her. I think JW has reached her ceiling at LMU. You know you're going to get 15-18 wins from her. Part of that is her playing a ACC non conference schedule. ACC=All Cup Cakes. You can follow the coaches on Twitter. twitter.com/LMUflannytwitter.com/CoachJules

If this is another so-so season my vote would be to turn the program over to Flanny.

If this is another so-so season my vote would be to turn the program over to Flanny. That would be WORST thing to do. Flanny is the top assistant and deserves both praise and blame for the program. LMU needs fresh blood for their new coach.

JW has been at LMU too long to ever take the program to the top, like a Gonzaga. A winning program has to be developed in the first 5 years or it will never be accomplished. Even with better talent I don't see her teams ever becoming teams and doing things together as good teams do. That being said, JW does graduate her players in four years, and does care about making her girls grow into well rounded women. If you want to win the WCC and get to the big dance it is not the place, if you want a great education and a great college experience sign up!
I checked that twitter out titanczar...lots of eating, resting and vacationing.

Flanny is the reason we get the recruits...they then have to deal with JW's nutty ways. I'm open to new blood but think Flanny should at least be interviewed.

In regards to
Twitter: August is basically a dead period. Coaches can't contact recruits. So for the coaches to enjoy vacations is perfectly normal.
Flanny: Fair enough that she gets an interview and I may even promise she will be a finalist. But nothing more.
If Trakh is still out there next year, would you take him as your coach?

Absolutely NOT! What has he done lately? With all the talent he had at USC he didn't do that well, granted he had injuries, but still, NO!

He won 15-16 games in one of the toughest conferences in the nation, with the injuries. Think other coaches could have overcome what he did and win 16 games?
He has gone to many NCAA tourneys. He is a proven winner.

Nice pick up for San Diego.
Kameron Knutson, a 6-foot-4 post from Mesa, Ariz., gave her verbal commitment to the University of San Diego over the weekend, her AZ Elite club team coach Kenny Drake told ESPN HoopGurlz. She chose the Torreros over finalist UCLA. Scouts Grade: 90
Position Rank: 18
