CMD and staff must have offered three juco wings recently. Brandon Mahan 6-5 , Tyshawn Davis 6-6 and Marlon Taylor 6-6. Dameane Douglas who is already committed is also 6-6. Could be another off season of significant roster turn over.

I saw that... Looks like we are actively recruiting 4 or 5 players with 0 open roster spots. Always safe to assume 1 or 2 transfers, which is typical for most D1 programs, hopefully just preparing for that and nothing more. That being said, can't have too m any 6'6" versatile players. And with that being said, we currently run an offense and defensive scheme that doesn't utilize versatility, hopefully this would change if a couple of these guys sign.

So Herman, Haney, Gibson, Williams, Causwell or Quintana could be out?

Somewhat concerning that, we are offering so many players with limited roster spots projected to be available. Maybe Dunlap is already aware of certain players who are planning on departing. This may be affecting the rotation. This is all speculation but you never know.

lmu - some players may choose to leave, some others may be asked to leave
Zafir's mom isn't a happy camper with Dunlap, this much we know Some other players probably have marginal D1 skills and will actually be better off playing DII ball

Thank you for the stats and videos, 90045
Ironlions, good nuggets of information.
Looking back at it, Dunlap has had pretty good success with his JC recruits, from Jacko to Brown to Batemon. No, it’s not a perfect way to try to rebuild a program, but let’s hope each one gets us a step closer.

I'm not holding my breath on CMD landing Mahan or Taylor.

Brandon's Mahans video footage reminds me alot of Steven Haney's. If you see the offensive sets Chipola runs, it is built and designed to give guys like Brandon space to operate, make mistakes, and throw up shots.
My fear is that these guys look great on tape but once they get stuck in Dunlaps retarded offense, they all end of looking like they are stuck in the mud. I don't care how talented your players are, if your coach doesn't allow them the freedom and creativity to play ball, we will always be a sh*tty a program

these Jc guys seem to be running more simple yet effective offensive sets than Dunlap ever thinks to run. How is a coaching "genius" who is so highly praised like Dunlap still employed at a D1 university like LMU?

"retarded" should not be a tolerated word on this board.
