Ayayi posted a triple double last night for the Zags Surprisingly (to me) is that it was the first triple double in Gonzaga history! Elsewhere, LaMelo Ball age 19 became the youngest player in NBA history to post a triple double- it came two nights after he came up one assist shy of his first NBA triple double

I did d see that - impressive win Santa Clara was led by a 6’7” PF Justice Also I hear that the Broncos have a new 50,000 seat basketball arena although Santa Clara County is shut down now and the Broncos can’t use it yet? Will be an interesting season in the WCC I think lots of “top” whatever voting is biased by momentum from prior seasons performances Maybe that will change

An announcer said that during one of the Bronco's games. Maybe I didn't heard it correctly or the announcer misspoke I can't find it on the Bronco's site. Sorry for any confusion.

Perhaps the announcer was referring to Levi’s Stadium - Santa Clara home of the 49ers now. It seats north of 65,000. 50,000 makes no sense for basketball. BYU has one of the largest bb arenas in the country and their seating is 22,700.

Not feeling particularly scared of either smc or byu after the first five mins. I’m sure that will change. Haven’t seen much WCC games lately.

BYU finished the game with a 17-2 run. The Cougars had almost no outside game tonight. The Gaels are no where near some of the teams they’ve had in past years. I think both teams are better than the Lions but LMU could sneak a win if they can keep down the TOs and someone can get hot offensively.
The Waves hung well with the Zags tonight ... for a half. But they were blown out in the second half. The Waves played a strong first half with hustling defense. But in the second half they had a number of defensive lapses and tons of silly mistakes on offense. Pretty much a typical Romer-coached half.

Like Winter says, Waves have talent but it doesn’t come together well. The spread was 25.5 and the Zags won by 25 while dribbling away the last 20 seconds of the game. How does Vegas do it?

Because sports is fixed, duh. It’s all one, big scam.
Actually I think it’s because we’re all just members of a simulation put together by an advanced civilization.
Can you tell it’s Friday? I miss some LMU basketball

USF just got a commitment from Mor Seck, goes to Riordan HS in San Francisco, huge steal for USF. He had offers from Kansas, Oklahoma State, LMU, and would have gotten a lot more attention if NorCal hadn't shut down basketball. He also reclassified from 2022 to 2021, definitely not going to come in and dominate early (will be more of a project), but loads of potential. There aren't many athletic 7 footers in this world, cool to see USF get one of them.

Maybe they have more than usual un-analyzed talent due to the Pandemic.
