Portland Guard Mike Meadows has entered the portal. Meadows averaged 11PPG, 2.7RPG and 2.2APG in 22-23. LMU is one (of many) of the teams that has reached out to him. He will be a grad transfer and went to Campbell High in Hollywood so a local.

He’s a good player. He could take the PG position. He’s not as good as Shelton but he’s a quality player. If we got someone of his caliber at the 1, 3 and 4 spots, we might be okay next year.

G Nick Timberlake (17.7 PPG,42% from 3) is in the portal.
LMU (along with a bevy of schools) have reached out to him. One year of eligibility left (spent 4 years at Towson)

Lot's of guards. Locking down a replacement for Cam clearly a priority. Hoping another reason only one forward on the list is because Keli coming back for his Covid year. I know it's unlikely but, you never know.

I’m OK with a few additional slots on the roster.
Coach Johnson is trying to set higher standards for his players.
Marble is a solid player but not a game changer.
Anderson can score but is erratic.
We can do better. Seems like James Nobles might get some minutes next season or Coach Johnson might have encouraged him to transfer too.

Anderson is kind of surprising to me, seemed like he was in line to get big minutes next year. I hope this means that Taitz is expected to be a lion and healthy next year, and that we will also make a big move in the transfer portal, as we currently have 0 ball handlers on our roster.
