Any news on how the Elijah Fisher visit went? Wasn’t he coming in this past weekend? Well obviously we now know we didn’t land him. Looks like Fisher committed to DePaul. Since LMU announced all the moves on social media, does this mean all of the roster spots are filled, sans the walk-ons? |

I only count 12 scholarships. We should have one more opening. Too bad about Fisher. He looked like the 3 we really need to have a complete team.

Does transfer portal window close today? Meaning if we are going to get one more recruit it would need to be today right? Yes, the Transfer Portal closes today. BUT that only means today is the last day a player can opt to enter the portal. There is no end date I’ve heard of for players to commit to a new school. At this point only something like 40% of the players who have entered the Portal this year have actually made a commitment. There are still a lot of talented players available. |

Just stumbled upon a note that Mike Mitchell from Pepperdine transferred to Minnesota for the upcoming season. Does anyone have a list of what WCC players transferred, and what WCC players are coming in, for the upcoming season?

Thiemann will have an opportunity to help head coach Stan Johnson build off that, with the 7-footer coming off a career year of his own for the Golden Bears. Starting a career-high of 30 games last year, Thiemann averaged 9.5 PPG and 5.4 RPG which were both career-highs. He took a career-best 229 field goal attempts on 49% shooting, and he even put in the work on the defensive side with career highs in blocks and steals. With the Lions losing multiple key pieces after last season, Johnson has retooled with several exciting transfer portal portal including Justice Hill from LSU. It’ll be senior center Thiemann with an opportunity to lead this group and further develop on the accomplishments of Johnson and Co. last year. |

I believe last day to withdraw from the NBA draft is tomorrow so hopefully that allows some dominos to begin to fall into place.

That's encouraging uncurse, that we are looking that high. I think it would be more like some nba prospect guys come back which fills roster spots and then that allows other players to have a better idea of where to go. We are prob more for those other players than the fringe nba guys |

With our current roster, we are likely looking for the right piece. I can't wait for the season to start. We have an NBA player in Dominick Harris, Juice Hill was excellent for Murrary state, and our frontcourt is very deep. Let's go, Stan!!!! (and staff).
