Remember when all the conference drama was around whether Gonzaga would leave? It's a good time to be in the WCC.

Yea will be interesting to see how all this plays out for the WCC. Pac12 is essentially done for or basically will become a completely different set of schools

Suddenly, we're the premier west Coast conference (until the Big 10 adds a full west coast division).

The only Power 5 teams floating around will be Cal, Stanford, Washington St and Oregon State. It makes a ton of sense for WSU and OSU to join the Mountain West due to their program levels and geography. To me, WSU and OSU have more in common with Idaho.
I don’t see Cal / Stanford as a MWC fit, nor are they going to get invited by the Big 10. I know that’s the “logical” merger.
Sounds dumb but any chance one of them joins the WCC in all sports and just go football independent? Specifically Stanford? Seems like they’re kind of like BYU (ironically) . Maples Pavilion is only 7,000. Baseball team possibly too good, but the WCC was solid in women’s volleyball, soccer. The only thing is that they’re not a religious based institution.

They do have a church on campus so close enough!

Saint Mary’s creamed Davidson 89-55. Davidson is not a cream puff team.

Santa Clara beat previously unbeaten Oregon and is now 6-0. The Broncos earlier beat Stanford. They play Ohio State Saturday in the Emerald Coast Classic Championship game. The WCC looks strong this year.

Looks about right. What happened to Saint Mary's taking the WCC title? Actual results belie this assertion. Gonzaga is the boss - beat both UCLA and USC among others.
