Does Lewis still have a role on next years team? Or is there a new talent out there that would help the team more?

Nebraska Forward Matar Diop, 6’10” 213lbs, Freshman has transferred to LMU. I think that leaves 2 roster spots open?

Hopefully he develops quick we don’t have time for a project.

The real challenge is keeping them around long enough to actually develop - the last 4 players we have signed all need time to develop, but all seem to have a lot of potential.

Two open roster spots and what do we have to show for it? Vilde will be a good player but what else is coming back? Inconsistent Will Johnston… what else should I get excited about? Idk… seems like it’s going to be another long year unless we hit home runs with these last two guys.

Maybe I am in the minority here but I would rather watch us play 5 underclassmen and go 9-26 but compete and hopefully improve throughout the season than a bunch of seniors transfers go .500. I'd love to see Diop, McBride, Vide, and maybe one of our freshman all start.

Justin Wright has hit the portal (confirmed). Justin is going to UNC Asheville; he gets to go back home to North Carolina. Wishing him the best! They should be contenders in the Big South.

I'd love to see Diop, McBride, Vide, and maybe one of our freshman all start. The problem with that is that there is absolutely no guarantee in this new era of college basketball that players you develop will be back the next year. In fact, the majority of time in years to come I will venture to guess that anyone worth his salt at lmu one year will most likely transfer the next. Lmu doesn’t have the nil collective to keep them here and they don’t win enough for the lack of making money to be overcome. May as well just play your best 5 and then do the same thing again the following year
