Bummer. I liked his offensive midrange game. He could create his own shot, which, frustratingly, was necessary a lot of times due to our offense’s structure.
Wish him the best.

I imagine each player has a post season interview with the coach to assess his future prospects on the team. Perhaps Wrights decision is a sign that Coach Johnson is expecting even better guards to be joining the team next season - like Pepperdine transfers? I did like Wright’s game and ability to create shots and score. Or perhaps Wright sees a brighter future elsewhere with a clearly winning team?

I liked Wright, more than Coach Stan did. Wright didn’t feel he got the respect he deserved and felt like he was too often in the outside looking in. Sorry to see him go but I understand.

College basketball has changed so much. Honestly if someone stays two consecutive years it’s a surprise, not the norm anymore.

Dom has entered the portal and also plans to test NBA draft waters. Honestly he never impressed me that much. Great kid and sharp shooter for sure, but never stepped up as leader, didn’t do much besides make some 3’s. Wish him the best, nba no chance at least as of now but maybe he proves me wrong in the future. Silver lining of a tough season. Whoever leaves I’m ok with it. Rather burn is down to the studs and rebuild this thing from ground up.

Doms not getting drafted. He has a LOT to work on.

Dom has outstanding length for his height. He is very quick and he has an excellent shot when he can get set. Those are all attributes that Coach Stan should be able to use to make Dom a consistent contributor in the college game. BUT he has a looong way to go to catch the eyes of NBA scouts.

I would like to thank our best player for showing up to LMU. We have had 3 coaches get fired and will have several guys in the portal. This is Stan's blame to burden. Dominick was Top 3 in the country in 3p% can defend very well. Those are two traits needed at the next level. He deserves to go back to Power5 school and to TEST (keyword) the draft. Our coach and scheme was incompetent all year. We should be thankful to have gotten a player of caliber to give us a chance.

I imagine Dom was sold on LMU by the prospect of reaching the Big Dance (as touted by Coach Johnson). Without that exposure (the Big Dance) pro prospects are greatly diminished. The Lions prospects for next season are a long shot at best. I wish Dom well.
