Probably has to do with that fact he is senior.

QT is allowed to stay on simply because he is a senior and his scholarship will go to Viney or Davis after he graduates. Unless he improves dramatically (which has happened) he will not see playing time. Its a way to keep the openings available for the Four Star Transfers next year.

Unless he improves dramatically (which has happened) he will not see playing time. Its a way to keep the openings available for the Four Star Transfers next year. I can understand the scholarship "pacing" theory, but I don't agree with it. I would rather see only legitimate players on the roster than placeholders. If there is no intention of playing QT, let's get rid of dead weight (RT's legacy....QT being given a LMU Basketball scholarship was RT's casket. QT starting the point at the beginning of the season was the lining of the casket.....LMU being crushed by Bakersfield was the casket door closing....everything else is a blurr for us fans from last year). If you don't get rid of your weakest link, then we have a problem. Having a weaklink at practice, on buses, on planes, at meetings is very dehearting for others on the team. As the saying goes, you are only as good as your weakest link. QT being on this team is not right. Give him the presidential scholarship and let's move on.

Yo, Iron, you got to keep me more informed. Any updates on 09' kids? Or just covertly slide me your rivals and scout passwords, we can't all work for Nipponese Multinational Corporations. Darrius Morris? Top 15 point guard in the country from a little local hippie school? We should at least pitch him. Any shot at Solomon Hill? Is Bak Bak on our radar, cause his name alone is phenomenal. Celts game starting, bye.

Until now it has been all Coach Bayno. But I think you will find that two of the new assistants will be bringing players in very quickly.

Does anyone know how many scholarships we have for the class of 2009?

Wow, Bak Bak it up. Kid supposedly has a 7'3 wingspan and can shoot out to 20 feet. Gonzaga and Louisville will be tough to out recruit any kid, but we have another connection in that he plays for the Pump brothers AAU team. Not sure how many schollies for 09, could be in flux.
