Zags lose to Utah 66-65. That is three losses in a row. Sepuku on the Zag board.

I mean technically we could because when was the last time we beat them? I dunno I would only do it if other agreed to do it? I think we beat them two years ago....I'm a little indecisive on the need to storm the court these days. I mean, on one hand, we suck so much that it's worth it if we win ONE game, and it happens to be against our rival; on the other hand, we have been storming the court EVERYTIME we would beat Pepperdine or Gonzaga....the first time we broke the long records, it was cool....now it just seems kinda pointless. MAN. Just thinking of who was on the team when i was there and we actually DID beat Pepperdine just makes my heart hurt. I guess we can actually call the days of Aggers the glory days, compared to what we've had the past two years......

Crazy Cage -
I understand your joy for a Zags loss - but I only want them to loss 2 games a year in regular season. Us and Us!
Oh - and who knew would have guessed we should have stormed the court after we beat Hope International? It was our finest hour!

Oh - and who knew would have guessed we should have stormed the court after we beat Hope International? It was our finest hour! Any Zag loss is a good one, in my book. Maybe it will ground their big heads a little. I still can't believe that mushroomhead is still on the team in full scholarship. I'd love to see how they manipulated THAT ONE. (A sign my sister made last year)

That's crazy bad karma Crazy Cage.
Wishing for someone to lose is bad Karma. We should only want LMU to win. We should not ever want someone to lose. Cause as they say - Karma is a b-yach.
(plus - the better the Zag's - the better it looks when we beat them. It will be no fun when (if) we beat Pepp this year. No fun at all.) - well, maybe a little fun.

Zags are having a tough time now for two reasons.
1) they are playing as individuals and not as a team. Much of their play from Daye, Pargo, and Heytfelt has been one on one geared and seems to be an effort to improve their draft day stock.
2) They have no inside game. heytfelt would rather play away from the basket than down low. Three of their losses have been because Jordan Hill, Nevill, and the Uconn big men killed them down low.
That being said, they have far more talent that LMU can put out there. From a non biased fan either way, I would expect a 30 point plus victory for the zags. With Teel and Hamilton, maybe 20 points.

Alert, If you would like to place a wager on zags losing three in conference, I would take that in a second. They will not lose three in conference. And if a kindergarten kid could tell you that the zags have more talent that the lions, why are so many idiot posters predicting the lions beating the zags twice??? um ok?
Some of you think the sky is falling on the Zags. They lost 4 games so far this year. They are going through a rough stretch. Big deal. They still have the talent to take a final four team in Uconn to overtime, beat Tennessee, pummel Washington State, and decisively defeat Maryland, and Oklahoma State.
So keep making me laugh with the prediction that this depleted Lions team will take care of the zags.

wait wait wait... i misread you.... THE ZAGS WILL LOSE MORE THAN THREE IN CONFERENCE??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! IS THAT A JOKE??? So who will beat them.... St marys plays them twice. I suspect you think St Mary's will beat them twice. Could happen but dont bet on it. That means you expect two more teams to beat them.... um... San Diego without Brandon Johnson... no way. Portland could be a challenge at their place. Who else? Santa Clara no way. Pepperdine makes me laugh. LMU no way. San Francisco not a chance.... you might want to use a little more sense when making your predictions.

When we beat the Zags back in.......2004, I do believe that they had been undefeated (but unranked) for the year (pre-season and during the season). It was a HUGE win for us; I don't even know when the last time we had beat them was, because I got to LMU in 2002.

zagfans pass the shrooms you must be taking along with the zaggie boys. Where do you see a "bunch of idiot posters" predicting the lions will beat the zags twice? Do you read posts or just type stuff. You think these zaggies will go to the final four? That is was the overwhelming mood a few weeks ago from zagland. Even a player on the team said they'd go undefeated! Sorry to break it to you but the sky is falling on them. a 4 game losing streak is a long ways away from undefeated! I even remember someone saying this team was clearly #1 in the nation and was getting ready to fly a national champions flag from their car window and then they got beat by a big sky team at home! Whoooops. I think SMC, UP, and USF have a legitimate chance to get wins. Once you come off your psychedelic drug trip you'll see the writing on the wall. alert, maybe you are the one not reading the posts just before your posts... stillalion and crazycagegirl both talking about LMU beating the Zags... hrmmm....I hope you didn't go to LMU... that education is going to waste. And Portland and San Francisco have a legitimate chance at beating the Zags.... RIIIIIIIIIGHT. Finally, just for the record... i was not the one predicting the zags were # 1 in the nation or that we would win a national championship. We will still make the Big Dance and have the talent to do some damage once there. We will see how it plays out, but the fact you think San Francisco with their one man show Lowhorn can take out the Zags makes me wonder who is the one on the shrooms. Keep dreaming bud. You were one of the few people on this board who I considered listening to their views and reading their posts, but after your last few, your credibility just took a hit.

Zag - you misunderstood my posting. When I said that we would beat you twice - I was talking about some hypothetical / mythical year in the future. Every dog has their day - but you will crush us this year.
My point was that as a fan of WCC - I want all of our teams to win. The more we all win, the better for the conference. Someday we won't be "mid major".
Crazygirl - No worries, I gotcha.

I think with the Zags, at least in my case, it's separating what I observe going to the games vs. what the media spoonfeeds us. I constantly see them pegged to be elite eight or final four caliber, when they have consistently underperformed come tournament time under Few.
I'm just weary of their media darling tag.
