For what its worth I actually think that Gonzaga is the second best team in the conference as of right now. In terms of how the teams are playing I would rate St. Mary's one and Gonzaga two. I love their inside game with Samham and Simpson and then their steady guards in Mills and Hughes formulate a very tough Gael team. I believe they are definitely top 25 caliber and I would not be surprised if they advance as far as the sweet 16 in this years tournament.

Huge game for Gonzaga tonight vs. #25 Tennessee. I believe a loss for the Zags would be four in a row...something that probably hasn't happened since dinosaurs walked the earth.
Vegas line is Vols -3.5

Thanks for the reminder ironlions. It's going to be a really important game for the Zags and WCC. I'll be sure to check it out.

I already have my spot at my favorite bar pretty much reserved. The place needs to hang something on their walls at this point. I've been watching my games there for the past three years....CAN'T WAIT!

Zags beat down USF by 35.
The 25 point to St.Mary's by our freshman and walk ons is looking pretty nice to the Waves right now. They lose to St. Mary's by 50 points!

For a team that I think most people would consider a "trainwreck" we have held it together pretty well. I think the players and coaches should be commended. I get a totally different and more positive vibe from their effort this year than last year's spiral even though our record is worse.

2007-08 @ Pepp lost by 23 @ St. Mary's lost 32 @ SD lost by 21
Ave. loss 25.33
2008-09 @ Pepp lost by 2 @ St. Mary's 25 @ SD lost by 11
Ave. loss 12.66
Next game vs. Portland, whom we beat last year. We've ALL gotta get out there and support these guys. This is definitely a winable game.
Prediction 62-57 LIONS!

I know that question wasn't aimed at me, but I have to say - I would hope we would be more focused on trying to mentally support our Lions, hoping they'll pull out of this drought soon, than counting how many times another team loses....though it's kinda funny and contradictory that I say that, since I already stated that any Zag loss is a good one, in my book.

Actually, the zags success brings much notoriety to the WCC so for the Lions sake, unless when the Lions are playing the Zags, you should root for the Zags. If the zags did not have as much success as they have had, the WCC would be a no name league right now. Any success of a WCC team is good for the program.

And the question was aimed at the person who said that he was sure the zags would lose more than 3 games.
